Northampton saints are pleased to announce their 3 day residential course at Stowe School, due to take place between 6th - 8th August. An intense 3 Day Rugby course designed to enhance, develop and improve the various skills required to excel at Rugby Union. -Packed with cutting egde, fun and exiciting sessions for all. -Led by Academy Coach Dusty Hare, Alan Dickins, Mark Hopley & Ross Stewart. -Up to 15 hours of Rugby Coaching from RFU qualified, Enhanced CRB checked and experienced coaches.Core principle of body management for developing body position in the contact enviroment - Guest appearences from Saints players who will coach and join in with the Rugby sessions (Subject to pre season training schedules. - The course content will look to increase the players knowledge and understanding of specific areas of the game. These areas include:- ~ Contact Management ~ Rucking and Mauling ~ Defensive Organisation ~ Handling, Running/ Evasion skills ~ Decision Making ~ Set-piece, position specific training ~ Kicking Evening activities to include swimming, cricket.
All players will require the following: Rugby kit, including protective, tracksuit and warm clothing Footwear Trainers and Boots Gum Shield Waterproof clothing Hat and gloves (recommended) Towel and wash kit Optional/ personal first aid kit Sun Tan Lotion and sun hat Notepad and pencil Plastic bags to bring home wet equipment Padlock and key Money for Tuck shop. - U10's need to be 10 on or before the 31st August 2014, this relates to this current playing season 13/14. - U11 needs to be 11 on or before the 31st August 2014, this relates to this current playing season 13/14.
